The concluding volume of The Zohar: A Modern Commentary, this third volume explores the lower four Sefirot—Netzach, Hod, Yesod, and Malkuth—through the lens of Lurianic Kabbalah and the cosmology of "Shattering and Repair."
Drawing on the Ra'aya Mehemna (the Faithful Shepherd) and the Tikunei Zohar (the Rectifications of the Zohar), this volume presents a five-layer commentary for each chapter: Rendering of the Source, Words and Roots, Traditional Rabbinic Interpretation, the Lurianic Doctrine of Repair, and Correspondence for Modern Daily Life, Frequency, and Manifestation.
Volume I covered the Realm of Origin (the Upper Three Sefirot); Volume II explored the Personality of the Soul (the Middle Three Sefirot). Here, in the final volume, the descent into the material world is complete—and the work of repair, tikkun, begins.
For students of Kabbalah, mysticism, and Jewish esoteric thought, this commentary bridges the ancient Zoharic texts with contemplative practice for contemporary seekers.
